creating a visual narrative that bridges fine art and architectural visualization

This project marked my first step into 3D, assigned at the beginning of October 2025. The task was to select an artwork and reinterpret its atmosphere through light, space, form, and composition.

I selected L'Étoile by Edgar Degas, a piece that captures grace, movement, and the quiet drama of the stage. My intention was to translate these qualities into an interior scene shaped by soft light, delicate composition, and a sense of motion frozen in time.

the chair

translating form, materiality, and detail into a tactile visual experience

The task was to model a contemporary chair based solely on photographic references, with an emphasis on understanding form, proportion, and materiality. I selected the N-LC02 Lounge Chair designed by Norm Architects, drawn to its refined geometry and subtle balance between structure and softness.

My intention was to capture the character of the design as accurately as possible — not only through its geometry, but through the way light interacts with its surfaces and materials.

The project also explored how a product can be presented visually, from controlled studio lighting to more contextual imagery, highlighting both the overall form and the finer material details.

blending photography and architecture into a cohesive visual narrative

This project explored the creation of an atmospheric environment through the combination of photography and AI-generated elements.

The task was to construct a believable scene by working with a base image as a foundation for perspective, light, and spatial context. I selected a landscape from Pexels, depicting the Seven Sisters cliffs along the English Channel, drawn to its strong natural character and quiet atmosphere.

The concept was guided by a compositional approach based on triangular forms and diagonal lines. My intention was to introduce a sense of tension and direction, allowing the architectural element to emerge naturally within the landscape.

Using AI, I developed the building and integrated it into the scene through careful matching of light, scale, and perspective in Photoshop, aiming to create a seamless and cohesive visual narrative.

A visual artist, architect, and curious dessert creator, drawn to detail, composition, and atmosphere. After several years working as an architect and interior designer in Germany and Sweden, I discovered architectural visualization as a natural continuation of my creative path. I'm fascinated by its ability to translate space, light, and atmosphere into images that communicate what words often cannot.

Interestingly, my love for creating desserts mirrors how I approach archviz — with curiosity, precision, and a sensitivity for composition, where small details can transform the whole. For me, architectural visualization is about giving ideas presence and atmosphere before they are built.
